Sun Dog's K-9 Uphill
Benefiting the Aspen/Pitkin Animal Shelter and Valley Dog Rescue the Sun Dog's K-9 Uphill was founded by Eric Skarvan's Sun Dog's Athletics. Competitors gather at the base of Buttermilk the first Saturday after the ski area closes in the spring for the 2,000 foot climb. Competitors ski, snowshoe and hike with their own canines or a borrowed buddy from the local animal shelter. For more information on Sun Dog's Athletics and the event click here.
